 I have been hunting most of my life, but picked up a bow from peer pressure about seven years ago. A few friends from work began bow hunting and soon convinced me to give it a try. I had purchased a bow when I was about 14 years old and even missed a spike on my first hunt. For some reason, that bow spent most of its life under my bed, while I hunted with my trusty 30-06. I didn’t know what I was getting into when I purchased that bow seven years ago. Now my rifle spends most of its time in the safe, waiting for my kids to grow up and put it to use.
I began visiting sites on
the Internet like Bowsite.com. When folks noticed I was from Laredo, Texas,
I began receiving emails about to javelina and hog hunts. Due to my
acquaintances with the owners of several large tracts of land, I
were able to host a few hunters that year. As time passed, I began
receiving numerous emails and calls for javelina and hog hunts.
 Pedernal Bowhunts has been in operation since 2000. We now
outfit hunts on several ranches consisting of
approximately 60,000 acres in Deep South Texas. All of our ranches
have been scrutinized by me to assure that we provide quality hunts
to all our hunters.
During the past seasons we have hosted thousands of hunters from
throughout the United States as well as the Netherlands and Spain.
For the
past few years, Pedernal Bowhunts has been advertising our hunts on
one the best websites on the Internet, Texasbowhunter.com, this has made a huge impact on our business.
